Koru Aotearoa (New Zealand fern) - The Koru slowly unrolls and the shape of this ancient plant is reveiled. Some species are edible when they are young ('Piko piko'). The Koru symbolises a new beginning and spiritual growth. This very detailed design, with its fine lines has proven to be very popular.
